   We live in an hour when it is easy to get off course.  If we are going to make heaven our home, we must stick to the old paths and not waver from the faith.  Paul admonishes Timothy to keep "Holding faith and a good conscience; which some having put away concernng the faith have made shipwreck." The importance of the apostolic movement is to "earnestly contend for the faith that was once delivered to the saints." Paul also wrote to the Ephesian Church that there was only One Lord, One faith, and One Baptism (Ephesians 4:5).

    The Apollo Spacecraft mission, while in flight to the moon, was on course less than one percent of the time.  Because of multiple logistical problems that occurred, NASA's scientists had to perform constant mid-course corrections.  And if they were off just one degree they would miss the moon by 2,163 miles.  We cannot afford to miss heaven by trying to chart out unproven paths.  The Acts 2:38 message of salvation still works in 2011.
